Are you an MPI (Manitoba Public Insurance) accredited repair facility?
Yes, Glass Lab is an MPI accredited glass shop. That means that we can process your glass claim in-house from start to finish and that your family can take comfort in knowing that all repairs are done by certified technicians to meet the highest industry standards.
Do I have to contact MPI (Manitoba Public Insurance) or my insurance broker to open a glass claim?
No, at Glass Lab we do that for you! We will even take care of all the paperwork so you don't have to.
My vehicle was broken into, HELP!
What a pain in the glass! Don’t worry, Glass Lab to the rescue. If your deductible is $200 or less, good news! MPI will waive your deductible as long as you provide us with a police report number. First, file a police report online. Once you have a police report number, click Open A Claim and fill in your information. One of our team members will get in touch to get you back on the road ASAP.
If your deductible is more than $200, we’ll go over your options to determine which one is the least expensive.
How do I find out how much my deductible is?
In Manitoba, you can find your deductible amount on the white portion of your vehicle’s registration. Look for the line ALL PERILS.
Do glass claims affect my insurance premiums or rates?
No, glass only claims do not affect your insurance premiums, rates, or driver’s license premiums.
Do you offer mobile service?
We sure do! During the warmer months, we can send one of our mobile teams directly to your home or office to perform the work (weather permitting of course). During the colder months, we can perform the work in your heated garage. Or ask about our vehicle valet service, we’ll pick up your vehicle, bring it to our shop, and return it to you before the end of the day.
Is there any warranty?
Yes. We are proud to stand behind our industry-leading Lifetime Warranty on workmanship for all glass installs & repairs.
How long will my auto glass repair or replacement take?
In most cases, windshield replacements will take approximately 2-3 hours. However, depending on your vehicle’s options (ADAS) it may take longer.
Can you guarantee the stone chip or crack in my windshield will be invisible after the repair has been completed?
Unfortunately no! It is normal for even the most successful repairs for a slight blemish or imperfection to remain where the impact occurred. In most cases, you should expect the cosmetic appearance of the repair to show some improvement as compared to the damage prior to the repair. A stone chip or crack repair is used to prevent further damage to your glass and to restore the structural integrity of the vehicle.
